A starting chapter of ISNEE success. Registration for the design challenge begin in the mid of April. A total of 69 teams were registered for Pre Final Round i.e. PFR. PFR was conducted separately for two zones i.e. North and South. Venue for north was Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida and for South MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore. After two days of presentations and questionnaire i.e. on 25^th and 26^th July, 48 teams made it to the finals.

Final Round was set in Mohite's Racing Academy, Kolhapur from 17^th – 19^th October, 2013. The teams arrived with their self fabricated Go-Kart to prove there metal. After going various inspections and tests comprising of Technical Inspection, Brake Test, Skid-pad, Autocross, 36 teams made it to the final Endurance and Fuel Economy round. Karts were made to run around the track to check there reliability and sustainability.

After going all these rigorous process it was Team Smoking Piston from Kolhapur Institute of Engineering and Technology, Kolhapur who emerged as Champions. Team Innovators from Oriental Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal was awarded as Runner Up. It was an opportunity for the teams where they showed their creativity, knowledge and skills.
