A competition that started almost a year ago concluded at Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore this February. People dancing on random beats but enjoying to the fullest, pushing out the tiredness of an intensive yet hectic week full of uncertainties and jaw-dropping moments. It was the right time to let them know about their success story. In an event of this kind, success can't be measured by just adding up the points and announcing it on stage. It's simply how much one has gained while working on this project. It wouldn't be less appropriate to say that this event is setting new standards every year.

7th season of the Go Kart Design Challenge started with teams' enrollment in March 2019 with as much as 171 teams on board out of which 112 could make it to the next level where teams submit the design reports. 78 of these 112 teams were able to build the vehicle as per the reports submitted by them. But that was not all, they had to face a tough round of in-house technical inspection that was conducted on a video call. In-house inspection is done to make sure that the vehicle is built in full compliance with the rules and regulations of the event rulebook. Only 52 could qualify this round and were allowed to submit the testing report and video before they could come to the Kari Motor Speedway, Coimbatore for the final round that was conducted from 10 to 14 Feb 2020.

Day zero of the event witnessed teams arriving on the track and getting themselves registered for pit allocation. The first day of the event started with DisAsm where karts were dismantled and assembled in a given period of time. Dynamic tests started soon after the technical inspection was successfully done. Karts reflected better design and manufacturing levels this year. Few teams were disqualified from technical inspection and brake test as well. All the 7 karts of the fastest batch of CV150cc couldn't complete the endurance and ended up with DNF.

According to our prospective due to improper driver-vehicle relationship. In order to complete the whole event with minimum failure, the drivers must be given sufficient time to play with the vehicle so that they learn about the strength and weaknesses of the vehicle. Also, this makes the driver more confident about his driving which is very essential during the race. The driver training program has been proven huge support for the endurance race.
